Photo session in Nymphenburg Park, Munich
Nymphenburg Castle was founded in 1664 and is considered one of the largest and most beautiful castle ensembles in Europe. Architectural ensembles blend harmoniously with the natural beauty of the place. Numerous reservoirs and canals, a variety of parks and gardens adorn the vast territory of the castle. Porcelain manufactory is located here for many centuries, and its products are exhibited in the museums of the castle. In front of the palace there are huge lawns and flowerbeds. To the right and left of the main pavilion are arches, which serve as entrances to the park. Behind the palace, there is a park decorated with ancient gods’ statues and another pond with a fountain. And the rest of the park, once also designed as an ordinary park, was turned into a more fashionable English landscape park in the early 19th century. Numerous pavilions are scattered all over the park, which can be considered as independent palaces. The most famous of them is Amalienburg. Also interesting is the so-called Temple of Apollo or Monopetra on the banks of the Great Pond. Nymphenburg’s canals are a kingdom of swans, who live here in large numbers and feel completely free. Nymphenburg Park is an ideal place for taking pictures of your wedding.
